WrenchTime support

The fastest way to reach us is from inside the app: Settings, Support, Help & Feedback. It sends your message with the app version and device model already filled in, and it can attach the diagnostic log if you choose to let it. If shake to report is on, shaking the phone opens the same form wherever you are. There is no account, no ticket portal and no queue number; a real person reads it. WrenchTime is version 6.9.0 and runs on iOS 26 and later.

How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?

Open Settings, then Support, then Help & Feedback. Pick a category, write what happened, and send. You can leave a way to reach you if you want an answer back. If you have shake to report switched on, shaking the phone opens the same form wherever you are in the app. Telling us what you expected to happen, and what happened instead, is worth more than any log.

How do I send the diagnostic log?

The feedback form has a switch for it. Turn it on and the technical log is attached to your message; leave it off and nothing technical is sent. The log records what the app did, not who you are: it carries no name, no address, no location and no contents of your records. You can also read it yourself first, from Settings, Support, Diagnostic Logs, and export it from there.

Where are the answers already written down?

Most questions have an answer on this site. The frequently asked questions cover motorcycles, electric vehicles, automatic trip tracking, units and gallons, OBD-II adapters, where fuel prices work, and what syncs where. The guides go further on one subject each. Inside the app, every maintenance procedure carries its own description, schedule hint and tip, and Settings has a search field across every page.

Where do I get the app, and how do I leave a review?

WrenchTime is on the App Store, free to download, with WrenchTime Pro as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple; WrenchTime never sees a payment detail, so a refund request goes to Apple rather than to us. A review on the App Store is the single most useful thing you can do for a small app, and Settings, Support has a button that opens the right page.

Is there a community?

Yes: r/WrenchTime on Reddit, linked from Settings, Support inside the app. It is the right place for the questions that are really conversations: which adapter to buy, how other owners set up their Live dashboard, what a reading means on a particular car. Bugs are better in the feedback form, where the version and the log travel with them.

What about my data if something goes wrong?

Your records live on your device and in your own private iCloud, so support never has access to them and never needs it. Take a manual backup before anything risky, from Settings, Data & iCloud: a backup is a plain folder in the Files app holding every vehicle, record and photo, and it restores without us. CSV and PDF export per vehicle is there for the same reason.
